It seems that Neopolitan still isn't managing to master the fine art of caring to be properly sociable. Still, the inbox does work, and she's known to respond fast enough, if she likes someone. So, at least there's that?

[ Neo is absolutely going to kill Chizuru.

And by that I mean that yes, yes. Of course she's looking majorly flustered over here as she sputters out: ]

[ It's not even defensiveness, like it might be with certain other people. It's just Chizuru getting flustered at someone even assuming that fake fact! ]

I just lived on a compound with him and a whole lot of other guys, t-that's all! [ She's probably not improving her case here, is she. ]

[she snickered a little and winked over at her before shaking her head just a bit, one hand leaned over on the table. This was so easy, it had to be wrong, but it felt too fun at the same time.]

[ At least she's being honest about that. Sure, Chizuru was a frequent target, but Okita teased people who were even higher in rang than him without doing as much as blinking! Truly fearless. ]

It's been.. a little strange. Suddenly being here without any of them. [ And it might not have been that long yet, but Chizuru sure is feeling it all the same. Or maybe it's since their loss is still so fresh now. ] .. it must be difficult for you as well.

[ After all, Neopolitan said her wife wasn't in this place. That's got to be even harder. Sure, the Shinsengumi were important people to Chizuru, but at least she wasn't married to any of them. ]

She really doesn't want to make Neopolitan think of anything unpleasant here, after all, and she nervously fiddles with the way her hands are resting in her lap. ] I did mean your wife..

[ And it seems that she was at least right on that one. Though she admires the way Neo seems to be handling it. Living up to their promise to wait for each other.

I hope that she will show up someday soon too, instead of people you'd have more awkward reunions with.

Awkwaard is ok, because some of those are Ruby's family and friends.
And if they can forgive, well, they're actually pretty good to have around most days.
But Emerald first. She's getting a really big, sloppy kiss the moment she changes from a squid.
