STAGE ONE CORRUPTION

The Biggest Problem with Neo's early stages of corruption is that they're almost indistinguishable from her normal behavior. She might be a little 'too' into her work, a touch more violent, more hyper focused, but even her friends probably wouldn't notice anything was wrong...

In fact, who's to say she isn't always a tiny bit corrupted? Perhaps the most dangerous part is that her mind may already be a very small amount broken, forever.

STAGE TWO CORRUPTION

It's thankfully possible to tell when things are getting bad. Neo starts having massive mood swings. She lashes out. She can be seen behaving emotionally, but not in a vulnerable way. She cries, screams silently and gets angrily belligerent. It stops feeling like a game, and she looks like she's losing it, because she is.

It's still easy to pull her back at this stage. She's alone and having trouble coping. Just being there helps a lot.

STAGE THREE CORRUPTION

When she stops crying and starts smiling while letting her illusion slip? That's the point that things have gone from bad to worse. Any shred of ethics, hesitation or really hygiene even is gone. She just doesn't give a shit anymore. She can attack in a heartbeat. She ceases to care about those she feels have left her behind. She seeks violent revenge over even petty things.

Getting her back requires a concerted effort at this point.

BEASTHOOD

Neo's not home anymore. There's just a Grimm that looks like a black, white and red version of her. It rips through space, existing in multiple places at once and stabbing from impossible angles as it twists the probability of where it could be. It is beyond revenge and hungers only for endless slaughter.

There's no reasoning with her. Kill, Run or be Killed.
